S070 – S110 0.35 – 1.20%

S170 0.50 – 1.20%

S230 – S660 0.60 – 1.20%

Physical properties:

Microstructure

Uniform martensite tempered to a degree consistent with the hardness range.

Hardness

41 – 51 HRC. Other hardnesses available upon request.

Density

The specific density of cast steel shot shall not be less than 7 gm/cc.

Steel Shot digunakan untuk membersihkan logam terutama dengan mesin shot blasting (wheel). Steel Shot memberikan efek penetrasi yang lebih besar karena titik kontak yang lebih kecil.
